Performance Engineer @ New York City
Concertio is a fast-growing VC-backed startup that provides AI-powered performance optimization products. We’re seeking a passionate Performance Engineer who’s up for the challenge of optimizing systems, while joining a fast-growing startup where he/she can have a significant impact. This position is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience being a Performance Engineer or Software engineer, who is looking to rapidly accelerate his/her career within a startup in the performance engineering space. This is a client-facing position as well as hands-on technical. Roles & Responsibilities: Customer Facing: Own the technical sales process and deliverables from opportunity identification through closing and implementation
  • Gather and use customer requirements to develop specific tuning solutions
  • Conduct proof of concepts and demonstrations for products and offerings
  • Assist existing customers and help them succeed with the company’s products
  • Consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
R&D responsibilities: Develop and extend the company’s tools to support additional hardware and applications
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge across multiple technology domains and applications
  • Develop expertise in system and application tuning

We’re seeking a passionate Business Development Representative who’s up for the challenge of communicating and providing our sales team with more qualified leads, while joining a fast-growing startup where he/she can have a significant impact. This position is ideal for someone with 3-4 years of experience being an SDR/BDR focused on technical buyers, who is looking to rapidly accelerate his/her career within a startup. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Discovering new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/messaging, using tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and DiscoverOrg
  • Sharing information about Concertio in outbound emails/calls and asking questions about the prospect’s business objectives
  • Making outbound calls to prospects who have expressed interest in learning more about Concertio
  • Achieving, and exceeding, weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.)
  • Managing prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in the company’s CRM
Basic Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a similar role at a company that sells either APM tools, performance testing tools, or other tools for DevOps teams
  • Sales-focused, strategic thinking with a bias towards action in a fast-paced environment
  • Quantitative track record of exceptional performance and a strong professional trajectory
  • Has a competitive spirit, coachable, and results-driven – “No” doesn’t scare you

We’re seeking a passionate Product Evangelist who’s up for the challenge of setting up the products’ go to market strategy, while joining a fast-growing startup where he/she can have a lot of impact. This position is ideal for someone technical with experience in dealing with performance challenges, who is now looking to be closer to the market and users. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Product leadership – be an expert in performance tuning, identify customer needs, and communicate Concertio’s strengths to the market. Live and breathe optimization!
  • Market intelligence – be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria
  • Understand the competitive landscape – be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned
  • Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn
  • Develop a go-to-market plan for our products, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers
  • Manage product launch cycles and create collateral to bring new features to the market

  • Build relationships with stakeholders and product community leaders

The candidate is expected to be well versed in recent enterprise software trends and to have marketed to technical buyers. You’ll be an ideal candidate if you’re looking to be an individual contributor at first with a potential to grow to a leadership role in a fast-growing startup. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Set up and implement the product marketing process of the company
