A Day In The Life
- Explore modern architectures and provide insights on how they can be tuned
- Find and develop new knobs
- Support business decisions with experimental results
- Guide product design with data findings
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Solid understanding of computer architecture concepts
- Solid understanding of the Linux operating system internals
- Ability to adapt and focus on rapidly changing technologies and business needs
- Creative problem solver, resourceful in getting things done, and able to independently create while working collaboratively on a team
- Ability to present experimental results both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences
- Desire to make the world a better place by reducing the energy consumption of data centers
Education & Training
- 3+ years of experience with the Linux kernel
- 3+ years of experience in C/C++ coding
- BSc, MSc, or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
